Charting the Course - Quality Matters 2014

Anchors Away, as we set sail & chart the course for Quality Assurance in Online Learning. That was the theme for the 6th Annual Quality Matters Conference in Baltimore, Maryland this past week. As expected the conference was great, filled with collaboration, discussion, and enthusiastic presentations. To be a realist, not not every presenter knocked in out of the park, (there were a few who given the choice I would have gladly walked the plank) but for the most part the QM style of provoking thoughts, sharing, and promoting audience participation was a staple in the conference sessions.

For those involved in the twitter backchannel at #QMconf there was never a dull moment as we shared thoughts, links, resources, quotes, and more. Even the occasional #selfie or pic worth blackmailing someone with later in life was shared unashamedly. This year seemed to include even more QM participants whose eyes were opened to the conference behind the conference. Below is my storified stream from #QMconf as I looked back at two jam packed days. Many good points to chew & reflect on for sure.

If you were at the conference hopefully a few of these will spark your memory, if not, enjoy...and join the QM folks next year at San Antonio!

Thanks to all those who participated at #QMconf
